Raise Your Spirits

If you are unemployed, this is a trying time. Make sure to reward yourself for the hard work you are putting in on your job search. Remember "all work and no play makes Dick and Jane unhappy children".

Make time to do things that won't rob you of your extra money but will make you feel good about what you are doing.

Make time to read a book. Take an afternoon drive on a nice day. Have lunch with friends you rarely have time for. Work on that garden. Go to a matinee. Work on a hobby -- who knows it could be your next career. Consider taking a class. Have a garage sale.

Whatever it is you select to do, remember to take the time. Enjoy this precious commodity and view the glass as half full. When your mind is free and clear, continue to pursue your job search.

"Waste your money and you're only out of money, but waste your time and you've lost a part of your life". (Michael Leboeuf)
