Can't Grow Where You Are Planted?

Are you in the course of an extended job search that is going nowhere? Maybe you should consider pulling up your roots. The costs aren't as prohibitive as you might think.

If you can't find a job where you're currently living, maybe it's time to move. Yes, it can be expensive to move. However, how expensive is it to be unemployed? Everyday that you're unemployed and looking for a job, you're losing time and money. Not only are you wasting time in fruitless local job search, but you're losing time to advance your career. And the bills continue to pile up.

The costs involved in a move are an investment in your future. If you can't get together enough money for a U-Haul, then sell everything you can bear to part with. Or put it in storage. You can also borrow money from friends and relatives (although I recommend this as a last resort).
